The Nordlys Film & Arts Festival takes place every Family Day weekend at the historic Bailey Theatre in Camrose, Alberta, Canada. Nordlys, which means “northern lights” in Norwegian, will be casting its cinematic glow over the dark Camrose winter for the 11th year.

The festival presents an eclectic blend of films from Canada and around the world as well as the opportunity to engage with special guest filmmakers. Over the last decade, Nordlys has screened award-winning films from over 25 countries.

Throughout the weekend, talented local performers provide musical interludes in our licensed theatre. On Saturday night, our audience will be treated to a feature concert inspired by a film.

Nordlys is entirely run by a passionate team of volunteers and is supported by a growing list of generous community sponsors.

Come travel to far-flung destinations from the comfort of your theatre seat and experience this unique celebration of cinema and community.
