Alex Dallas is a writer, actor and performer from London, England. As a founder member of female comedy troupe, Sensible Footwear, she has toured the world and performed at the most prestigious festivals and theatres, including the Edinburgh Fringe, the Adelaide Fringe, the Glastonbury Festival and the Canadian Fringe and Comedy Festival circuit, as well as Just For Laughs. Her one woman shows, Goddess, and Drama Queen, aired on CBC TV, The W Network, Bravo TV and CBC Radio. Horseface, her most recent show won Best Solo Performance at the Ottawa Fringe 2024.

Jimmy Hogg, Playwright/Actor

Jimmy Hogg is a writer, comedian and storyteller who has made his name on the Fringe circuit over the last 20-years with his high-energy, physical, tangential style. Shows include Curriculum Vitae, Figgy Pudding, Like A Virgin, and The Potato King. In 2017 and 2018 A Brief History of Petty Crime SOLD OUT at the legendary Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Comparisons to Eddie Izzard, Rik Mayall, and John Oliver (and other British people) are frequent if not always accurate or deserved. He has numerous awards and merits and is a 12x BEST OF FRINGE WINNER.

Elizabeth Vibert, Filmmaker
Aisha’s Story

Elizabeth Vibert has been working on a collaborative oral history project with Palestinian miller Aisha Azzam and community members in Baqa’a refugee camp, Jordan, since 2018. Aisha’s Story is the product of this relationship. Elizabeth’s filmmaking, writing, and research examine grassroots initiatives toward socially just and sustainable food systems in vulnerable communities. She co-wrote and produced the award-winning documentary film The Thinking Garden (2017, dir. Christine Welsh). Cinematographer and co-director Chen Wang’s award-winning photography provides intimate insight into the life of a Palestinian family in exile. Co-producer Salam Barakat Guenette also grew up in a Palestinian refugee family in Jordan. www.aishasstory.com
